Church Finances

We are financed through the generous donations of those who attend our church. We set a budget towards the end of each year, which allows us to support church activities, salaries, administration and property maintenance.

Giving

If you would like to find out more then please do feel free to contact us via the contact form. If you would like to support the work of the church financially there are two primary ways to do so:

• Through a direct bank transfer, either as a single gift, or a regular standing order donation. Please contact us if you would like our bank details for this purpose.
• On a Sunday using the collection boxes in the entrance area of Hartham Chapel. Any cheques should be made to ‘Hertford Town Church’. There are yellow envelopes near the box, which enable you to record these as Gift Aid donations (if you are a UK tax payer).

Gift Aid

If you are a UK tax payer you may wish to consider using Gift Aid, which allows the Church to claim back an additional 25p for every £1 you donate. Yellow envelopes can be found with the donation boxes.
